The life you are living now is a result of the hard work of someone else.
Nope, not your parents. Not suffragists or reformers. Not even Brene Brown.
The life you’re living now is the dream-come-true of your very own past self.
Look around. See your home, the vacation you took, the business you run? Those each began as a tiny hope in your heart.
A tiny hope that turned into a vision, then a goal, then a plan, then…reality.
Everything you have right now is your past self’s manifestations. Everything.
But generally, once we finally get the thing we so desperately wanted, we’re already wanting something else.
Like when your kid tells you in August that all they want for Christmas is a Barbie Dream House. You go and put one a layaway and dutifully make the payments. You’re so proud and excited to deliver this perfect present to your beloved child.
Then Christmas rolls around and that kid is like “Barbie who?”, wrinkling their nose at this hard-earned gift.
When we yearn for more, that’s normal. That’s progress.
But when we poo-poo what we have, when we wrinkle our nose at it and think “this isn’t enough”, then we are rejecting the work of our past self.
We’re rejecting the manifestation our past self has provided instead of building on it.
This season, your’e invited to appreciate what you have, express gratitude to your past self for her vision and dutiful focus, and thank her for getting you further down the road, further up the ladder.
Because what ever you’re wanting right now, the thing that’s just a tiny hope in your heart, will manifest into reality. It will be there for your future self to build on.
Happy, happy manifesting, Queens!
