During Queen season my attention turns to the trees.
I love seeing their crowns glow green during these longest days.
I also imagine their roots, supporting their height and storing the starlight they’re eating for the quiet months across the wheel from now.
The Queen archetype taps into your own version of “the crown”, allowing you that bird’s eye view of the big picture, and the lay of the land.
The Queen is just as fluent in “root energy”– what stabilizes and supports your growth and expansiveness, and stores the starlight for later.
So, at Wednesday’s Seasonal Attunement ritual, I’ll be offering specific bodywork that kindles the wisdom of your crown and roots.
I’ll massage your head and feet to support and nourish your own bird’s eye view vantage point, ability to expand and grow, stability, and depth.
There’s one more “wisdom” to align with during Queen season.
It’s the place on the body where I like to anoint with the Queen oil.
The heart.
Heart-energy ensures that the Queen remains benevolent and not self-serving, that she’s a steward and not a diva, in command rather than controlling, majestic instead of manipulative with her power.
This ritual will also include some potent heart work, including offering your heart area the soothing vibrations of a tuning fork.
So, imagine…
There’s a center altar honoring the abundance and brightness of Summer Solstice.
And around the altar are massage tables.
You’ll settle onto your massage table, clothes on, and relax.
Just like in a ritual, I’ll invite you to deepen your sense of presence with guided noticing and meditation.
Then I’ll begin the hands-on offering.
You’ll be anointed with The Queen oil, and because it’s a scent, specific parts of your brain will enliven.
To amplify your brain’s response, I’ll apply a tuning fork to your heart area.
These sound vibrations will speak to your body and psyche, and also the quartz crystals on the center altar.
To connect you to the altar and the others in the group, I’ll place some of these quartz crystals on your body.
Then I’ll massage your head and feet to help you embody the wisdom of crown and roots.
And meanwhile, you are relaxing and allowing your mind to drift.
Whether my hands are on you or not, you are in a state of receiving and alignment.
In this ritual, to receive is to participate.
I’ll prompt you to pay attention for any “Queen themes” that grace your mind as you relax and drift.
As I move around the room and offer the hands-on work to each participant, we’ll create a strong web of healing that will speak to your Queen nature.
Things like what you’re manifesting, your bird’s eye vantage point, your benevolent leadership, and your majesty will be supported and nourished.
The ritual will conclude with each participant receiving a handwritten divination scroll.
The divination will offer a hint at the ways your personal Queen wisdom is expanding and growing this year.
