Under this Dreaming moon, I’m inspired to flesh out the conversation between The Queen and The Dreaming that Bridge inquired about in her podcast interview.
The Queen: (breathless from hard work) Oh, Dream! How great to see you! How have you been? Hang on, I’m getting a text about a project…
The Dream: (reclining) Hello, Queen. Mmmmmmmm…..busy as ever I seeee…..(yawns, stretches).
The Queen: (finishes her text, tucks the phone away respectfully). Dream, I’ve gotta hand it to you. The dreams you gave me to manifest this year have been amazing. Absolutely rewarding. Have you noticed how much progress I’ve made? I’ve been looking forward to showing you.
The Dream: oh yesss, what a brilliant job you’ve done making my dreams come true. This reality that you’ve created is soooo nice. I’m really inspired….I’ve started to dreammmmm about…..
The Queen: (leans closer) Tell me everything.
The Dreaming: welllll, I just love how easy you make it all look. I can dream of anythinggggg…. and I know I know you’ll make light work of it….(stares off into space)
The Queen: mm hm. mm hm. (nods, takes out a pen and notebook to record the dreams)
The Dreaming: welllll….I’m dreaming bigger than ever because of how majestically you make them come true. My dreams are expandinggggg…..
The Queen: (bows)How kind of you to say that, Dream. You know I love nothing more than to look at your list of dreams, roll up my sleeves, and get to work with my team of Worker Bees and make them come true. I am expanding too, as a result of manifesting your dreams.
The Dream: Really? Mmmmmm, isn’t that beautifulllll. The bigger I dream, the stronger you get at creating them. The more dreams you make come true, the wilder and bigger my dreams can get. Mmmmmm, yessss. That is a lovely thing…(twisting a tendril of her hair, closing her eyes)
The Queen: And Dream, you’ve gotta know how much you inspire me. These dreams you give me, when I imagine the reality where they’ve come true, it’s like magic. I feel like a herd of horses, powerful and ready to gallop toward this reality that you’ve dreamed up.
The Dream: ohhhhh, a herd of horsesssss….that reminds me of a dream I had… (trailing off)
The Queen: (smiles, leans forward and puts a steadying hand on The Dream’s shoulder) But as you were saying, you’ve been inspired and dreaming?
The Dream: (half opens her eyes) Oh Queen, wait until you hear thisssss…..
And for the rest of the night, The Dream relaxes and describes possibilities and potential, speaking in half sentences and symbols, while The Queen captures and interprets every last word, her mind hot with plans, steps, and a clear vision of precisely how to make the dreams come true.
