In ritual, we use invocations to honor Nature and the capabilities of our wisdom. Invocations open and expand the intelligence we have access to.
Use this invocation throughout the 5 weeks of Warrior season, when it’s her moon, any afternoon, or anytime you need access to your own Warrior wisdom.
Begin by anointing your solar plexus area with The Warrior anointing oil. Let the scent invoke emotions and associations.
Face East and say:
Beloved East, I call your Warriors. Stand with me, shoulder to shoulder, and remind me of my courage to begin again, change my mind, and try new things. When I face the East, I see the sun rising like a brave Warrior cresting a hill, facing the day with energy. I wield this wisdom and mystery.
Face South and say:
Beloved South, I call your Warriors. Stand with me, shoulder to shoulder, and remind me of my courage to focus my passion, activate a plan, and metabolize lessons into wisdom. When I face the south, I feel the sun igniting fire within me, fueling me to face what challenges me. I wield this wisdom and mystery.
Face the West and say:
Beloved West, I call to your Warriors. Stand with me, shoulder to shoulder, and remind me of my courage to feel my feelings, explore depths, and to release things when they’re done. When I face the west, I see the sun setting like a brave Warrior walking into her barracks, ready to rest and restore. I wield this wisdom and mystery.
Face the North and say:
Beloved North, I call to your Warriors. Stand with me, shoulder to shoulder, and remind me of my courage to honor my body, support it with exquisite care, and rest when I need to. When I face the north, I see the night sky and feel it’s invitation for quiet. I wield this wisdom and mystery.
Face your Center and say:
Beloved Center, I honor the Warrior within. I stand shoulder to shoulder with my allies, supporting them just as they support me. I kneel gratefully as the sword mothers teach me. I move between battlefield and barracks with ease. When I face my Center I see my Self, wielding my wisdom with skill and grace.
love and Lammas,
