Mermaid Writer’s Group

Description

In the Writer’s Group, our muse is Autumn Equinox and The Mermaid archetype. We’ll use scent & writing prompts to express & explore.

Writing is a great tool for navigating the psyche. In the Writer’s Group we will not critique each other’s work or try to “write well”.

Instead, we’ll write authentically.

We’ll also weave our writings together to create collective poems that I call “magic minds”. It’s fun & deep.

Class #1: a Seasonal Oracle Card video. Watch it before Class #2 and do the magic mind. We’ll read them aloud.

Class #2 & #3: online, live, and participatory.

General live class flow:

• settling-in ritual
• writing warm-up
• archetype/season discussion
• 1-3 writing prompts
• “magic mind” poems
