For the first time ever, I’m training others to offer the scent divination techniques I’ve honed over the last decade. As a practitioner, you’ll be an important part of the Darkwood lineage; someone I’ll be honored to have representing this work.
The Darkwood pedagogy holds a special place for so many. I can only do so much alone. I need help bringing this important work to the world!
As a Darkwood Archetype Practitioner you’ll be certified to offer four scent divination techniques. You’ll also be able to sell the river island apothecary Anointing Oils.
You could develop this training into a livelihood, a solid side hustle, or a deeply compassionate way to support your community. You can weave these techniques into an existing practice, adding to your toolkit of ways you help people.
And you’ll have my support the whole way.
Qualifications
To attend this training, you must have a foundational understanding of The Darkwood Archetypes and experience using all seven of the Archetype Anointing Oils.
You must also meet at least one of the following:
- completed a year-long Darkwood Mystery School
- listened to The Darkwood Beat for one year
- read all 8 segments of the Materia Mystica
your training includes
Practitioner Training sessions: We’ll spend two days together on Zoom learning these techniques and diving deep into their intricacies.
Practitioner Support sessions: After you’ve spent a few weeks practicing these techniques, we’ll gather twice more to discuss issues, celebrate success, and support one another as we develop our practitionership.
Case Study support: I’ll provide worksheets with comprehensive guidance for practicing your Scent Divination sessions including supply checklists, scripts, talking points, and scheduling suggestions. I got you.

- Practitioner Training sessions; Monday and Tuesday July 21 & 22 from 10 am – 5 pm
- Practitioner Support sessions: 6 – 7:30 pm on Tuesdays Aug 26 &Sept 2
Contract & Agreements
- You’ll be required to sign a Practitioner Contract to participate.
- You must attend all Practitioner Training sessions and Practitioner Support sessions to receive your certification.
- to keep your certificate in good standing, you must complete the following yearly continuing education as long as I’m alive and cognizant 😉
- one 30-minute advisory session with me ($75)
- at least 6 hours of live classes with me, online or in-person (starting at $197)
- attend one 90-minute group Practitioner Support session (no cost)

Who is eligible to take this training?

Do we get a Practitioner’s Kit of oils?
Because so many of you already have full sets of Anointing Oils, the kit is not included in the training. This keeps the cost of the training down.
The Practitioner’s Kit is offered on the online shop & already reflects a discount.
If all you need is the wooden tray, those are $40. Just let me know if you need one.
Are you a big fancy company now?
No, and that’s part of the charm.
I’m still small batching the oils by hand in my woodland apothecary. I have a 2-week (max) turn-around time for filling oil orders. I’m not Amazon, nor a multi-level marketing company.
This is an artisan business with a non-patriarchal approach to production, time management, and communication.
what’s your motive for training us?
So many things.
First, these oils sell better when they’re explained in person. I want passionate, intuitive, and articulate women doing that.
Second, the “Rabbit Hole” — once you turn people on to these beautiful oils and anointing rituals, you’ll help them down the rabbit hole of additional offerings and experiences. I’ll encourage you to offer your own rabbit hole, and you’ll also be trained to guide them toward my rabbit hole of mystery schools, classes & rituals, and almanacs & publications.
And most importantly, I want to empower you in offering your work and magic to the world. how many people are you training?
Six initially. Then I’ll see how it goes.
What if we live in the same town?
I know that many of you might live in Asheville or WNC. I think there’s more than enough to go around, and honestly I’d be happy to connect you with my brick-and-mortar retailers to offer readings there.
If you live elsewhere, I will be mindful of “territory” to a degree, but in my experience and via the wisdom of The Tantrika archetype, we each magnetize different people. I think there will be plenty to go around.
what‘s the training like?
We’ll gather on Zoom and do a brief ritual/meditation to settle us in, then I’ll begin introducing the techniques. We’ll cover really specific things, and I’ll also offer anecdotes about holding space in general, potential issues, and hilarious stories about how I learned how to do scent divination the hard way.
You’ll get a thorough overview of these techniques, plus a solid behind-the-scenes glimpse at my personal use of Priestess wisdom.

what’s the refund policy?
There are no refunds. Enrollment means a commitment to pay the entire course fee whether you are in attendance or not. If there’s a true emergency, your course fee can be applied to the next Practitioner Training.
when’s the next Practitioner Training?
I imagine I’ll offer it once a year, but we’ll see how it goes.
will I get one-on-one time with you?
The training doesn’t include individual sessions. You’re always welcome to book an Advisory Call with me at an additional cost.
can I offer Darkwood Archetype Practitioner Trainings?
No.
can I teach Darkwood Archetype information in my own training or mystery schools?
